TRAVEL INTELLIGENCE / MANAGED DATA

Hopper
travel data.

Make travel offers useful beyond the search screen.

Managed Hopper data collection for hotel research and scoped flight-price monitoring. Bring destinations, displayed offers and trip context into your workflow.

RESEARCH WITH THE RIGHT CONTEXT

Follow the offer. Keep the trip in view.

A hotel listing and a dated travel quote answer different questions. Build a collection around the markets, travel dates and decisions that matter to your team.

01

Hotel market research

Map properties by destination, neighborhood, star rating and available amenities. Keep review scores separate from hotel classifications.

02

Travel-price monitoring

Follow selected hotels or flight searches over time. Compare observations with the same dates, travelers, currency and price basis.

03

Offer intelligence

Study displayed offers across your target destinations. Separate public starting prices from dated quotes and any separately scoped app or member offers.

DATA POINTS TO BUILD AROUND

The offer. The journey.
The context behind it.

Choose the Hopper fields your research needs. These are proposed normalized field names, not a live response or a guaranteed source schema. Availability is confirmed against your project scope.

01

Search context

Destination or route, travel dates and party size give each observation its meaning.

Example field names
  • destination
  • origin
  • travel_dates
  • travelers
  • rooms
  • currency
  • market
02

Hotel identity

Property name, city, neighborhood and descriptive details available on the source.

Example field names
  • property_name
  • city
  • neighborhood
  • description
  • source_url
03

Property signals

Published star category, guest-review score, review count and visible amenity information.

Example field names
  • star_rating
  • review_score
  • review_count
  • amenities
04

Displayed prices

Amount, currency and wording such as a starting nightly rate. Dated totals and fee components are confirmed separately.

Example field names
  • displayed_price
  • currency
  • price_basis
  • offer_label
  • tax_fee_context
05

Flight offers

Scope route-specific collection for available carriers, journey details and fare conditions. Validate these fields on your target searches.

Example field names
  • route
  • carrier
  • departure_local
  • arrival_local
  • stops
  • fare_class
  • fare_conditions
06

Observation record

Keep when and where the offer was observed, the search context and any missing or inaccessible information.

Example field names
  • captured_at
  • source_url
  • search_context
  • collection_status
  • missing_fields

Start with the fields that change your decision. Add enrichment or cross-source matching as a separate, explicit part of the brief.

Plan your dataset

PRICE WITHOUT CONTEXT IS NOT ENOUGH

A starting price is not a booked trip.

Hopper hotel destination pages display starting nightly prices. A useful comparison preserves that wording and only compares dated offers when the relevant search context is available.

The same stay
Keep check-in, check-out, occupancy and room conditions aligned. A public starting rate is not evidence of availability for your dates.
The same price basis
Distinguish per-night, per-traveler and total-trip amounts. Missing taxes or fees stay unknown, not zero.
The same access context
Public web, app and member experiences can differ. We scope the required channel and permitted access before agreeing coverage.

MANAGED TRAVEL DATA

From a research brief
to a repeatable feed.

We collect the agreed source data, structure it for your workflow and define how collection quality and changes will be handled.

  1. 01 / SCOPE

    Define your search space

Choose routes or destinations, dates, traveler profiles and markets. Confirm permitted access, required fields and a useful refresh schedule.

  2. 02 / VALIDATE

    Check a representative sample

Review price basis, source attribution, missing fields and result completeness. Agree what counts as a comparable offer.

  3. 03 / DELIVER

    Connect your analysis

Receive the agreed file format or scoped API integration. Define monitoring, failure reporting and maintenance before recurring delivery.

A maintained travel feed or a public-page analysis?

These datasets are a managed service. The self-service Scraping API collects accessible public content with optional AI analysis; it does not bypass CAPTCHA or login, or automatically return this travel schema.

BEFORE YOU BUILD ON THE DATA

Details that matter
to your pipeline.

Can public hotel rates be used as dated availability?

Not on their own. A destination page can show a starting nightly rate without a selected stay. We keep it labeled as a starting price; availability and total-stay pricing require a separately defined, dated search.

Does this include Hopper price predictions or app-only offers?

Not automatically. Public web data does not establish access to the full app experience, member offers or proprietary prediction models. Any visible prediction labels or app-specific fields must be explicitly scoped and validated; we do not reproduce Hopper's forecasting model.

Can flights, hotels and rental cars go into one dataset?

They can share observation and search-context conventions, but each needs its own record type. This page focuses on hotel data and scoped flight offers. Cars, homes, ancillary products and additional channels are separate coverage discussions.

How are coverage, frequency and cost agreed?

We size the project around destinations or route-date combinations, required fields, traveler and market variants, and refresh frequency. After access and sample validation, we agree delivery and pricing. One search can produce many offers, so a returned-row count alone is not a reliable measure of collection cost.

Can the feed fit our existing data pipeline?

We can scope CSV, TSV or JSON files, or a project-specific API integration. We agree identifiers, null values, currency conventions, timestamps and matching rules before recurring delivery. Source changes, incomplete runs and maintenance responsibilities are included in the project discussion.
